The Sentrix Managed Service focuses on three key metrics - Service Level, Business Agility and Labour Cost. Labour cost being the total cost of services required by the company's IT infrastructure. Service level represent the quality and timelines of IT services delivered to the business and its end users. Business agility reflects the organisation's ability to adapt to changing technology and/or business conditions. Through the use of software automation, centralised management tool and IT standardisation, Customers will be able to improve the parameters mentioned above and advance its IT operations from a Basic ad-hoc model to a Dynamic model in which case IT will become a strategic asset to the organisation rather than just a cost burden to the business.

 

The above describes the 4 different levels of Microsoft's Infrastructure Optimisation Model (IOM).

  • A Robust Platform – We migrate businesses to a modern, standardised environment based on Microsoft Windows XP and Active Directory. We ensure minimal business disruption with state-of-the art tools and end user training.
  • System Administration – We manage user accounts, groups, security and access policies.
  • Help Desk – We provide a 24x7 single point of contact and accountability for all IT issues. Our team of experts is familiar with your environment and manages all issues to resolution. Comprehensive reporting gives you visibility into your IT environment and service.
  • Desktop Management – We configure PCs; deploy management agents; update software and deploy security patches; troubleshoot hardware and software problems; provide anti-virus and security management; perform nightly data backups; and restore the information on lost or damaged systems.
  • Network Management – We continuously monitor LANs for faults; deploy and maintain wireless LANs where appropriate; and support a secure VPN for mobile users.
  • Server Management – We continuously monitor your file and application servers for problems, performance and security, and resolve any issues we discover. We back up your server data nightly and rapidly restore lost information to replacement servers.
  • Enterprise Messaging – We host, manage and ensure high security of Exchange 2003 - Microsoft’s enterprise-class e-mail, scheduling and collaboration application.
